Dear Fellow Twilight Fans

My name is Weeball, I live in sunny South Africa  and as I am sure you have figured out, I am a serious Twilight fan! I started reading The Twilight Saga, after finally getting a chance to watch Twilight, and I fell head-over-heels in love with the fantasy world Stephenie Meyer created. Once I turned the final page of Breaking Dawn, I realized that life would never be the same again and in an attempt to fill the gap, I entered the online world that is ‘The Twilight Fandom’. I quickly became addicted and needed my daily fix of all things Twilight. I hunted down every photo and watched every video I could find.

One happy day, I logged onto my favourite Twi-News blog, The Twilight Lexicon, and came across a post for the QuileuteWolfPack.com website. Being a Wolf Pack fan, this obviously got my attention. I went to the website, joined the forum and soon found myself making friends with a group of like-minded, brilliant  people!

This is where I met Sprucey. Sprucey is from Australia and because of our common love for all things Twilight, and our common problem of the million mile distance from the heart of the Twilight World, we quickly became good friends. We both became obsessively obsessed with our need to be closer, to get a chance to experience the full effect of the Twilight Phenomenon. Immediately after the New Moon premiere, discussions about the Eclipse premiere began. We knew we could not watch this one from the sidelines.  – we NEEDED to be there, and we needed to finally MEET! This is where ‘Operation get Weeball and Sprucey” to the Eclipse premiere began!

Our plan is to fly to LA, camp out at the theatre with all our fellow Twilight fans and QWP members and to then watch the midnight release on the 29th of June 2010 at the event that QWP and CullenBoysAnonymous are hosting called Fire & Ice. Unfortunately, after checking numerous flights, I quickly realized that the exchange rate of South African Rands to US Dollars meant that there would be no way I could save the money needed in time. Obviously, being obsessively obsessed, I could not let it end there, which is what brings me here.

What I am asking, is for anyone who has a spare dollar to please click the PayPal link below and donate $1.50 to our cause. (I just want a dollar but the extra 50 cents is to cover the paypal  and exchange fees!)

It may be a long shot, but sometimes a little faith, and an awesome fandom of millions, can make a dream, a reality!

PLEASE GRANT OUR WISH – DONATE $1.50

And help Sprucey and I meet in the heart of the Twilight World, for the event of a lifetime!

Love,

Weeball
